A volcanic eruption (Volcan de Fuego) on Sunday, 3 June 2018 near the capital city of Guatemala created havoc with many dead and missing and thousands of families losing their land and crops. Multiple additional eruptions followed in the next couple of days. It was reported that a total of 1.7 million people in three states have been affected in some way.
As many as 110 people were reported as dead and about 200 people were reportedly missing. More than 3,500 people were evacuated in nearby cities and taken to shelters.

When this statue arrived to Prasanthi in the summer of 2002, it was placed in the Poorna Chandra Auditorium. Swami was in Brindavan then.
When Bhagawan returned after a few days, He went straight to the Poorna Chandra Auditorium to see this masterpiece.

During the last week of May 2017, Cyclone Mora swept over Sri Lanka, with heavy rainfall and extreme winds, causing flooding and landslides, and resulting in 177 casualties and 112 missing persons. Residents of the Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Matara, Galle, Hambantota, Kegalle, and Ratnapura districts were affected by the disaster. Natural disasters are not new to Indonesia.
